Steve Draeger is the chief financial officer of Kaiser Permanente’s IT organization. Steve has more than 30 years experience in leadership roles in finance, accounting, and IT operations. He joined Kaiser Permanente in 2008 as vice president of IT Financial Planning and Analysis and Activity Based Costing.

Prior to joining Kaiser Permanente, Steve served as the CFO of Pionetics Corporation, a technology start up. He also previously served as CFO at Gray Cary LLP, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, two major law firms. Steve also served in domestic and international finance roles with S.C. Johnson, a large consumer products manufacturer. In this role, he implemented activity-based costing in manufacturing in 1992.

Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He received an MBA from Marquette University.
